SM Entertainment announced on the 21st that Girls’ Generation will release their 4th album called ‘I Got a Boy’ on the 1st of next month.
They released their 3rd album called ‘The Boys’ last October and they are releasing new material for the first time in one year and 2 months.
They have already released a track and music video called ‘Dancing Queen’.
‘Dancing Queen’ is a remake of the hit song ‘Mercy’ that was already sung by pop star Duffy.
SM stated, “Honestly, ‘Dancing Queen’ was a song that was recorded in 2008 and it was a song that we have saved until now” and “The music video that we have released has added clips of the members now from the footage from 2008. It has a ‘Time Machine’ concept and includes the past and present form of Girls’ Generation. Fans should be able to get a different kind of enjoyment from the video”.
SM Entertainment released a teaser image of member Hyoyeon and will start introducing other teaser images for the new album in order.
