Big Bang member G-Dragon received a proposition to collaborate with top American producer Pharrell Williams.
Pharrell Williams wrote on his twitter on the 9th, “These two are amazing talents. Korean art is vast and next level. Time to collab” and mentioned G-Dragon. The two people mentioned in his tweet are G-dragon and album art designer and sister of G-Dragon Mina Kwon.
Pharrell Williams already gained attention previously for following G-Dragon on twitter and he is also the favorite overseas artist of G-Dragon. Williams was previously mentioned numerous times by G-Dragon and is a top music producer in America. He recently wrote and featured on Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ which was first place on the Billboard and i-Tunes charts.
Williams is not just famous for being a famous artist and songwriter but is also well known in high fashion circles and is an artist with skills in many areas. This is the first time that this hot American icon has mentioned G-Dragon and has gained attention within Korea for also suggesting a collaboration.
G-Dragon’s new album release from this month contains the track ‘Niliria’ that features famous American female rapper Missy Elliott and his song ‘Coup D’etat’ features famous DJ and composwer Baauer who was famous for the song ‘Harlem Shake’. World famous DJ Diplo also was included in this album and is becoming a topic of interest.
G-Dragon will be releasing his second album on the 13th with new songs ‘Window’ and ‘Black’ that feature Sky Ferreira.
