JY Park talks about meeting Suzy for the first time and also about the ‘Big Three’ companies!

Singer Park Jinyoung (JY Park) stated that Suzy reminded him of a famous actress from the 1970s named Jung Yoon-Hee.

 He recently recorded an episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook’ and stated “The first time I saw Suzy, I thought of Jung Yoon-Hee. I believed that she would really do well at that moment” and showed off his discerning eye as a producer.

 He also talked about the styles of the three major entertainment companies (JYP, YG, and SM). He stated “YG goes for feeling more than style. SM goes for rationality rather than feeling and JYP tries to do both and that is why it is not going well” and showed his humble opinion.

 He also talked about his connections with YG’s Yang Hyun Suk by saying “When I was a high school student, Yang Hyun Suk was a legend in a famous club for his dancing” and shared the similar paths that he took with Yang Hyun Suk as a dancer/singer, and also as a producer.

A photo from Shinee member Minho’s birthday has been shared.

Minho uploaded the picture through Super Junior member Kyuhyun’s twitter. Minho uploaded a picture and wrote, “This is Minho. I was really moved by Kyuhyun hyung’s cake”. and “I am so happy on my birthday. Heechul hyung, Kangin hyung, Donghae hyung, Minho hyung, Kyuhyun hyung, Chang min hyung, and Jonghyun hyung. I love you~”. 

In the picture taken on the 9th, there were TVXQ’s Changmin, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and Donghae, and Shinee’s Jonghyun. A cake was in the middle and they all posed with Minho for the picture. 

The netizens wrote, “That is a really comfortable gathering”, “SM has loyalty”, and “I want to be in that picture as well”.

TVXQ songwriter Andrew Choi moves up on ‘Kpop Star 2’

Andrew Choi, active songwriter for both TVXQ and Boa has been accepted into the next round of ‘Kpop Star 2’ on SBS. 

Andrew Choi sang the song ‘Sunday Morning’ by Maroon 5 on the episode of ‘Kpop Star’ that was broadcast on the 2nd. Yang Hyun Suk praised him by saying, “Since you have been involved in producing, you have great skill in interpreting a song” and “I look forward to seeing your next performance”.

Park Jin Young continued by saying, “One negative point of your performance is that you sing so comfortably that you have a habit of turning your head. This causes the sounds to be lighter and farther away. However, everything else besides that was good”.

Boa stated and confirmed his acceptance by saying, “When I was in the process of preparing for the song ‘Only One’, I heard a guide for the song and I thought that the man sang so well and I think it was Andrew who sang it. I look forward to seeing you sing Korean pop songs”. 

Netizens stated, “I look forward to his next performance” and “He has a great skill for interpreting songs”.

JYJ has come to an agreement with SM Entertainment!

SM Entertainment and group JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu) have come to a mutual agreement after fighting over an exclusive contract for 3 years and 4 months.

According to the words that been spread in legal circles on the 28th, both JYJ and SM Entertainment have agreed to cancel all legal injunctions and have set the date of cancellation as July 31, 2009.

It has also been stated that both sides have agreed to and signed a written agreement to cancel all remaining lawsuits and will not interfere with each the activities of the other.

JYJ’s side immediately stated on this matter , “We cannot confirm this”.

Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, and Kim Junsu debuted with group TVXQ in 2004. On July 31, 2009 they filed an injunction asking for their exclusive contracts to be voided with SM Entertainment at Seoul’s Central Court.

The three have been working together as JYJ since September 2010 and have been in a legal battle with SM Entertainment ever since.
